Item 1:       National and Local Dues - $80.00

                Katie Odom requests that all Fleet 4 members pay their 2008 dues.

                The Fleet 4 Checking Account balance is approximately $1400.00.

Item 2:       Race Schedule for 2008              

The 2008 Race Scheduled has been completed for Rhodes 19 Fleet 4 and Gulf Coast yacht club events. It is also posted on the FYC website. The Fleet will not race the Dauphin Island Race.

Item 3:       Rhodes 19 National Championships, Fleet 4/FYC Bid for 2009

Tom Depres, the current Rhodes 19 Class President has been contacted and briefed that Fleet 4/FYC members will present a bid at the 2008 National Championships to be held at the New Bedford Yacht Club, South Dartmouth, Mass. 

Item 4:       2009 National Championships Team: Members who have not volunteered are invited to do so. We will need everyone’s help to assure a successful regatta. The following names for the team were discussed and proposed.

Item 5:       Other Business

Steve Odom was elected Fleet 4 Captain for 2008. Katie Odom was elected Fleet 4 Secretary/Treasurer for 2008

Nancy and Randy Fitzpatrick have graciously offered the Marti Trophy for the Rhodes 19 winner of newly created three regatta series; including Juby Wynne at SYC, Birthday Regatta at PCYC and Wadewitz Regatta at FYC.

A measurement workshop with our regional measurer Peter Sladovich will be conducted soon.  The measurer or his delegate will be onsite to assist boat owners with their boat’s compliance   issues per the class rules and regulations.
